BEHIND THE SCENES

Charged with building a website that illustrates the global reach of FedEx (and inspired by a brilliant print campaign courtesy of Almap BBDO), we set out to create a destination that shows FedEx working tirelessly behind the scenes. The result was a site that transports visitors behind an actual image of the world and reveals a fabulist landscape literally pulsating with a ceaseless hub of activity – dollies are pushed across the foreground, trucks and planes come and go, packages are passed from India to China, freight loaders transport materials across Australia, and so on. It ended up being a pretty rich, engaging articulation of how FedEx is behind how the world does business (though existentially speaking, it’s a little troubling).
