LOST THERE, FELT HERE
Most people know that climate change is an environmental crisis. But most people don't know that one of the quickest ways to reduce worldwide CO2 emissions is to protect forest land. They may not realize that what is lost in far away forests is felt right here at home. and they may think there is nothing they can personally do about it.
The goal of Conservation International's Lost There, Felt Here campaign is to show people that they CAN make a difference in reversing climate change, even if it's just one acre at a time.
The multimedia web experience, featuring Harrison Ford, encourages prospective donors to give $15 to protect an acre. The user can get detailed information and demonstartion of all the life that "their" acre supports, as well as behind the scenes stories on all of conservation International's global efforts to address this critical environmental issue.
