Citi prides themselves – and rightly so – on talking to everyone in an fresh, honest, less-“banky” way. This campaign is intended to extend that spirit to the college market. The ads are animated depictions of the trials and tribulations of the college experience. The simple line-art style drawings underscore the dry humor, for example, of trying to find a little cash in the couch cushions, only to discover your roommate’s missing tightie whities.
